Jodha Akbar Fame Aman Dhaliwal Who Was Stabbed In An US Gym Calls The Attacker ‘Psychopath’

Famous Punjabi actor and Jodha Akbar fame, Aman Dhaliwal was stabbed in a gym in the US. The video of the shocking incident was being circulated on social media. The assailant identified as 30-year-old Ronald Chand from Santa Ana, was arrested soon after the incident, the actor had suffered multiple injuries. Aman who is now stable and is recuperating from the horrifying incident spoke about the incident with Hindustan Times. Aman said that the assailant was possibly a victim of a Punjabi hate crime.
AMAN DHALIWAL RECALLS THE ATTACKER SAID 'JAI MATA DI' AFTER ATTACKING HIM
It was the morning of March 14, when Aman first saw the attacker outside his gym. Aman said he was weird. He noticed and decided not to park his car close to him. The attacker first broke Aman's rear side window while he was still preparing for his workout in the car. The actor was quoted as saying, "As soon as I came out of the car without my shoes, he hit me with the axe. I asked him why you are attacking me. Before I could understand anything, he said something in Hindi: Jai Mata Di. I don't want to make it Hindu versus any kind of it."
Dhaliwal soon realized that the assailant was Indian, and he said his intention was to just stop him from doing nonsense. The actor stated, "even if he is a psychopath, he is an Indian. If he goes to injure anyone else, the message that will go out is: 'An Indian guy did the massacre and killed many people here'." The actor revealed that the idea of safeguarding Hindustan's name gave him the courage to fight back.
It is to note, Dhaliwal has got 13 stitches in his hand, 13 in his neck, and a few near his chest. "I believe God saved me, despite so much blood loss, I was able to stand," the actor was quoted as saying.
Aman further revealed that Chand is still under custody and no one from his kin has come for bail.
