Josh App: The Catalyst of Joy and Generosity For Manisha Patra; A Look At Her Inspiring Journey

In the digital age, we often hear stories of how social media platforms have transformed lives, but the tale of Manisha Patra, also the owner of an organization Anandam, is a testament to the power of one such platform, the Josh app. Manisha's journey, from being a creator of Josh to becoming a force for positive change, is a heartwarming story of joy and generosity.
A Remarkable Beginning
Manisha Patra's journey with the Josh app began on the platform's first birthday. Little did she know that this connection would go on to change her life in the most profound ways. The Josh app, primarily known for its engaging short videos, provided her with an avenue for self-expression and creativity.

With the earnings she made from Josh, Manisha embarked on a noble mission. She decided to give back to society and make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children. The first step was to provide books and school supplies to those who needed them the most. Manisha's actions were inspired by the sense of responsibility and purpose that the Josh app had ignited within her.
Spreading Happiness One Video at a Time
Last year, Manisha used the money earned from Josh to upload videos of making sweets for underprivileged people. She started dancing after watching Josh's dance videos. Now, she teaches dance to children from a disadvantaged school, all without charging any fee.
What makes this journey even more extraordinary is the fact that Manisha's videos, featuring the #durgapuja tag, were recognized and featured on the Josh app. The children from the school were overjoyed to see their talent showcased on a platform as significant as Josh.
Manisha Patra's endeavors did not stop at school supplies or dance classes. Through her organization, Anandam, she (with her team) has been dedicated to spreading happiness and making a positive impact on society. Anandam's core mission, aptly reflected in its name, is to experience and share joy with everyone.

She hails from Halisahar and this year marks the 300th birth anniversary of Ramprashad Sen, a dedicated poet belonging to her birthplace. In honor of the special occasion, his thousand idols were created and distributed to various places in India and abroad, all free of charge. Notably, these idols were also gifted to prominent figures like actress Aparajita Adhya and several ministers.
Coming back to Anandam, its diverse activities include teaching dance to underprivileged children, organizing free medical camps, providing books and stationery to underprivileged children, and conducting online competitions throughout the year, attracting participants from Bangladesh and 9 states. There are a total of 16 events including dance, song, recitation, calligraphy, photography, and more. On every Sunday, Anandam hosts live performances on its stage, welcoming artists from distant corners to celebrate and applaud their exceptional talents.
Celebrating Pujo with a Purpose
Anandam's calendar is brimming with activities that aim to spread joy and generosity. During Kali Pujo, they distributed clothing to the underprivileged, conducted Bonedi Bari Puja, and honored Sharod Utsav participants without any cost.
The organization is known for its Sharod Samman initiative, where they receive Puja pandal applications and do not seek monetary contributions. This commitment to celebrating Pujo without financial burdens reflects the spirit of selflessness and joy that Manisha and her team embody.
The journey that began with the Josh app has taken Manisha Patra and her organization Anandam on a remarkable path of spreading joy and generosity. Her story is a testament to the potential for good that exists in the digital world, where a single app can become the catalyst for joy and change lives for the better.
