Women Are Not Just For S*x: Kangana Ranaut BLASTS Subramanian Swamy For Criticising Her Ramlila Appearance

Kangana Ranaut BLASTS Subramanian Swamy

Kangana Ranaut Slams Subramanian Swamy: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has hit back at BJP leader Subramanian Swamy after he criticized her appearance as Chief Guest at the Luv Kush Ramlila in Delhi, questioning her suitability for the role.

Kangana Ranaut, who is known for her bold and often controversial statements, did not mince words in her response to Swamy's comments. The controversy began when a social media user posted a photo of Kangana Ranaut in a white bikini on X (previously Twitter) and said that she was the only Bollywood actress entertained by the Modi government.

Subramanian Swamy, in response to the tweet raised concerns about her invitation to the Ramlila event. Swamy in his Tweet said, "According to SPG gossip, she is a 'frequent flyer.' Why should SPG gossip? Because the organization is overworked. Her being made chief guest at the Ramlila final day is the organization's conduct unbecoming of respect for Maryada Purushottam."

Kangana, in response, lashed out at Swamy in a lengthy and fiery post. She wrote, "With a swimsuit picture and sleazy narrative you are suggesting that I have nothing else to offer except for my flesh to get my way in politics ha ha I am an artist arguably the greatest of all time in hindi films, a writer, director, producer, revolutionary right wing influencer, had there been a young male mavrick instead of me who could possibly be a great future leader and deserving of guidance and mentorship would you still imply that he is probably selling his flesh to get his way in politics?"

The actress wrote, "Deep-rooted sexism and dormant lust for the female body make you sound like a pervert. Women are not just for sex; they have other organs as well, like a brain, heart, hands, feet, and everything else that a man has or it takes to be a great leader. So why not, Mr. Subramanian?"

On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut is set to make her return to the big screen with the upcoming release of Tejas, where she portrays the character of an IAF officer named Tejas Gill. The film, directed by Sarvesh Mewara, is scheduled to hit theaters on October 27.
