Kangana Ranaut Questions Ranbir Kapoor's Casting In Ramayana: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is one actress who never shies away from launching scathing attacks on Bollywood. From time to time, she keeps unleashing her wrath on B'town celebrities and leaves no stone unturned to shame them.

On Saturday, the actress reacted to reports of Ranbir Kapoor playing the role of Lord Rama in the upcoming Ramayana. In a lengthy post, Kangana bashed the star and also questioned his casting in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana.

Reports have surfaced claiming that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen essaying the role of Goddess Sita and Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's much-anticipated film, Ramayana. According to the same report, KGF fame South superstar Yash is in talks for Ravana's role.

A day after the reports surfaced, Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram Stories and slammed the film's makers for offering the role to Ranbir Kapoor. Criticising the casting of the movie, Ranaut wrote a long, snarling note against the actor.

She wrote, "Recently I am hearing news about another coming up Bolly Ramayana... Where a skinny white rat (so-called actor) who desperately needs some sun tan and conscience he is infamous for doing nasty underhand PR about almost everyone in the industry... known for womanising and drug addiction after desperately trying to prove himself Lord Shiva in a trilogy (which no one watched or want to make more parts of) has now grown fancy to be Lord Rama..."

Further adding that Yash should be playing Lord Ram, she stated, "Whereas a young southern superstar who is known to be self-made, a devoted family man a traditionalist also according to Valmiki ji description he looks more like Lord Rama in his complexion, demeanour and facial features... is offered to play Ravana...What kind of Kalyuga is this?? No pale-looking druggie soy boy should play Lord Rama .... Jai Shri Ram (folded hands emoji)."

However, the producer of the film, Madhu Mantena, refuted the report. Anitehr buzz on social media also claimed that Alia Bhatt has replaced Sai Pallavi in the role. Talking to Pinkvilla, Nitesh Tiwari stated that Alia Bhatt was the first choice for Ramayana, but the dates could not match due to several reasons.

Meanwhile, interestingly, Kangana will feature in a film called The Incarnation: Sita. She will next be seen in Emergency, which is her first solo directorial film. She also has Tejas, Chandramukhi 2, and Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda.
