Fake Reviews Smear Campaigns: Kangana Ranaut Lashes Out At ‘Movie Mafia’ For Trying To Harm ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’

Tiku Weds Sheru: Tiku Weds Sheru starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Aveneet Kaur marks the directorial debut of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. The film was released on Amazon Prime today June 23.
Tiku Weds Sheru was released on the OTT platform amid decent buzz. However, the film received mixed reviews. While a section of netizens felt the film was 'fresh', others found it extremely slow and boring.
Now, talking about the film, Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram and lashed out at the 'movie mafia' for trying to tarnish the image of her first production film Tiku Weds Sheru.

The Queen actress wrote, "People are sending me messages that they are loving the poetry in the film, yes all the shayari in the film is written by me.. also movie mafia doing everything to harm my film, fake reviews, and smear campaign started even before it's release."
She further urged people to watch it themselves before going by the 'paid fake trends'. "Anyway, it's streaming now please watch it for yourself or only ask your friends or people that you know about the reviews of the film if they saw it before you, don't go by paid fake trends or reviews. also do write your feedback after you watch it... Happy watching Tiku Weds Sheru," added the actress.

Meanwhile, talking about the film Nawazuddin Siddiqui told News18, "Tiku Weds Sheru is a comedy-drama that weaves elements of real life struggles that people go through with a unique love story. Tiku and Sheru, are very different personalities who have a common dream. What excited me about Sheru is that while personifying challenges faced by individuals aspiring to achieve success in the entertainment industry, he is relatable, brings his own set of quirks, and stands out as an endearing character."
