Kangana Ranaut Accuses Karan Johar Of ‘Banning’ Priyanka Chopra, Says ‘Because Of Her Friendship With SRK…’

Kangana Ranaut has responded to Priyanka Chopra's recent revelation regarding her move to Hollywood while at the peak of her Bollywood career. The former Miss World had disclosed in an interview that she was feeling "pushed into the corner" and was "tired of the politics" in the film industry.
The Queen star has now reacted to Priyanka's statements and accused Karan Johar of banning her. The two actors had previously worked together in the 2008 movie Fashion and the 2013 hit Krrish 3.

On Tuesday morning, Kangana tweeted in response to a news article about Priyanka's recent statement, stating, "This is what @priyankachopra has to say about bollywood, people ganged up on her, bullied her and "chased her out of film industry" a self made woman was made to leave India. Everyone knows Karan Johar had banned her (1/2)"
In another tweet, Kangana further stated, "Media wrote extensively about her fall out with Karan Johar because of her friendship with SRK and movie mafia Cruella who is always looking for vulnerable outsiders saw a perfect punching bag in PC and went all out in harassing her to a point where she had to leave India."

Kangana Ranaut has demanded that Karan Johar be held accountable for his actions, stating that he is an 'obnoxious, jealous, mean, and toxic person' who has ruined the film industry's culture and environment. She further stated that Johar's gang and mafia PR should be investigated and held responsible for harassing outsiders.

Priyanka had made the revelation during an interview with Dax Shepard on his podcast Armchair Expert, where she mentioned that she was not getting good roles and was struggling amid industry politics. Her current manager and friend, Anjula Acharia, offered her a chance to try her luck in music in the west and that's how her journey in Hollywood started.
Priyanka did release a few music videos with Pitbull and others, but eventually achieved success with her hit TV show, Quantico. She also won two consecutive People's Choice Awards for her role in the show. She will now be appearing in Russo Brothers' show Citadel and the Hollywood film Love Again.
