Kangana Ranaut To Contest In Lok Sabha Election 2024 On BJP Ticket? Here’s What We Know

Kangana Ranaut is an actress who has not just made headlines for her impressive acting skills but she is also known for not mincing her words. The diva has been quite vocal about her opinions about everything happening in the country and has been a strong supporter of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). And while there has been a massive buzz about Kangana Ranaut entering politics for a while now, her father Amardeep Ranaut has finally shared an important update.

According to a report published in News18, Kangana's father has confirmed that the Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhaani actress will be contesting in the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024 on BJP ticket. However, he also emphasised that the political party is yet to finalise the constituence she will contest for the elections from. Interestingly, the news about Kangana Ranaut contestesting for the elections came after she had attended an RSS event in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh recently and even claimed her views are quite similar to the RSS philosophy.

Earlier, Kangana had also dropped hints about contesting in the Lok Sabha elections during her visit to Gujarat wherein she visited the shrines of Dwarkadhish and Shree Somnath Jyotirlinga. When quizzed about the elections, Kangana had stated, "Shri Krishna ki kripa rahi to ladenge (If Lord Krishna blesses, I will fight)."

Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Kangana was last seen in Sarvesh Mewara's aerial action thriller Tejas wherein she played the role of an Indian Air Force office. She will be next seen in Emergency which happens to be a biopic on former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi wherein Kangana will be seen playing the role of the PM Indira Gandhi. Also starring Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry and Milind Soman, the movie has been one of the most anticipated releases of 2024.
