Karan Deol-Drisha Acharya Wedding: It's celebration time at the Deol family as actor Sunny Deol's elder son and legendary actor Dharmendra's grandson, Karan Deol, is all set to tie the nuptial knot with his long-time girlfriend, Drisha Acharya, on June 18 in Mumbai.

For the uninitiated, Drisha is the great-granddaughter of veteran filmmaker Bimal Roy. The Deols are super excited for the wedding, while their home is lit with beautiful lights and decorated with flowers. The couple got rokafied on June 12. As per a report by the Hindustan Times, the Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas actor's wedding will be an intimate affair on June 18, followed by a star-studded reception on the same night. Many biggies from Bollywood are expected to attend the bash.

Some names that are on the guest list include Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, and others. Karan's haldi ceremony was held on Thursday, June 15, at his residence. While the Sangeet ceremony is happening today, June 16.

"All the functions will be held at Taj Lands End, but the haldi ceremony took place at their house only. That's because they wanted some functions at home for that wedding vibe. Everyone was waiting for this day, and now that it has come they are busy making sure the arrangements are done well so that they can enjoy it," a close source of the Deol family told the outlet.

Meanwhile, Drisha's mother, Chimoo B Acharya, has taken care of the events. The source said, "Karan (32) has ensured that decor is subtle and not over the top - something which reflects both his and Drisha's personalities."

Further, the source insider also added that the couple's sangeet playlist is especially curated, including all songs of the three Deol generations to add Bollywood masala.

"Karan and Drisha have requested a special playlist full of songs featuring Deol clan over the years. They wanted to trace generations through the songs, which is why the set playlist will have lots of songs from Dharam paji's era too, besides popular tracks of Sunny and Bobby Deol," the outlet quoted the source as saying.

Although the Deol family is shy, the source stated, "They have also prepared special performances for the occasion, and Karan's gang is also working on a special number for him".

Dharmendra will attend his grandson Karan Deol's wedding

A report says that veteran actor Dharmendra's absence from his grandson's pre-wedding festivities has left people worried. But the source confirmed to the media outlet that the 87-year-old will be a part of Karan Deol's wedding.

The source said, "Dharmendra ji will not miss his grandson's wedding. There is a wedding in the whole Deol clan after a very long time, and the whole family is very excited about it. He will be coming to the wedding to bless the couple. It is not clear whether he will stay back for the party considering the age factor."
