Kareena Kapoor Bajranji Bhaijaan 2: Bollywood megastar Salman Khan, back in 2021, made an announcement that a sequel to his superhit film Bajrangi Bhaijaan is in the works. The movie also starred Kareena Kapoor. Back then, Khan revealed to the media that Bajrangi Bhaijaan writer KV Vijayendra Prasad was already working on the movie's script. Meanwhile, the sequel is reportedly titled Pawan Putra Bhaijaan. However, as per the buzz around the movie, Kareena Kapoor is said to be replaced by another young actress in the film. Yes, you heard that right!

KAREENA KAPOOR REPLACED IN BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN

Baijrani Bhaijaan without Kareena Kapoor is unimaginable, right? But yes, as per multiple media reports, actress Pooja Hegde has been roped in as the female lead for the movie's sequel. According to reports, Kareena Kapoor has been replaced by Pooja Hedge by Salman Khan in Pawan Putra Bhaijaan. Meanwhile, it is not yet clear if Pooja will be stepping into Kareena's shoes or if she will play a new role altogether.

Last year, the film's writer, Vijayendra Prasad, also confirmed that he was ready with the script and that filming would begin soon. "I have narrated the story outline to Bhai (Salman Khan) and he has loved it. Now the ball is in his court to decide on timelines," he had said. Kareena Kapoor Khan was an important part of Bajrangi Bhaijaa, but it seems like the makers want Pooja Hegde to lead the movie.

Interestingly, Pooja is already romancing Salman Khan in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and sizzling chemistry has already impressed fans. There were also rumours that Pooja and Khan were dating. Neither of the stars has reacted to the rumours. But it looks like Pooja is getting along well with Salman and wants to keep their association for a long time. Meanwhile, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is one of Bollywood's most loved movies, and fans have been eagerly waiting for the sequel. But it might come as a disappointment for Bebo's fans.

Speaking of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan, directed by Farhad Samji, the family entertainer is set to release on Eid 2023. Besides Salman and Pooja, the film also stars Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, and Palak Tiwari.
