Kartik Aaryan Breaks Silence On Comparisons With Allu Arjun

Actor Kartik Aaryan, who has been making waves with his last successful movies, is currently gearing up for his next release, Shehzada. The actor, along with his co-star Kriti Sanon, have been extensively promoting the movie across cities and have high hopes for it. The stars spoke at length about their films in an interview ahead of the film's release in theatres tomorrow, February 17th.

For the unversed, Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon are reuniting for the second time in Shehzada after Luka Chuppi. The film, directed by Rohit Dhawan, is a family entertainer and also stars Manisha Koirala, Rohit Roy, and Paresh Rawal, amongst others. Shehzada is the official Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

Since the day of Shehzada's announcement, Kartik Aaryan has been constantly compared to Allu Arjun, as the film was a superhit in Telugu and has a cult-like following for Allu Arjun. Apart from the movie, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's songs were among the most popular and trending on Chartbusters. Addressing the comparison with Allu Arjun, Kartik Aaryan recently opened up about whether he is actually nervous about being compared with Allu Arjun.

Speaking to ETimes in an exclusive interview, Kartik said, "With every film, I am being compared to something or someone. So I am okay with not reacting or not thinking about it. When I was offered the film also, I never thought of such things. Because I know that these things always happen with every film - I have seen the same pattern during Bhool Bhulaiyaa and now again during Shehzada. This is a normal question which has been asked again and again to me. But I am okay, I have done my own things and with the character. And I hope what I have done, people will like it," he added.

Further talking about doing an action-rich film, Kartik said, "I was really excited because this was the first time that I was doing something like this. The action sequences specifically, I've never done in my career."
