‘Jab Aap Saath Hote Ho…’: Kartik Aaryan Reacts To Sara Ali Khan Discussing Their Relationship On KWK 8

Kartik Aaryan-Sara Ali Khan: In a recent interview with Anupama Chopra on Film Companion, Kartik Aaryan opened up on his feelings regarding ex-girlfriend Sara Ali Khan discussing their past relationship on Koffee With Karan 8.

The nation swooned when Sara Ali Khan confessed her 'huge crush' on Kartik Aaryan during her Koffee debut in 2018. After which the two actors not only connected but also dated for a brief period before parting ways reportedly in 2020.

Sara during her stint on Koffee With Karan 8 candidly shared her sentiments on the talk about her relationship when she was asked about being friends with exes. She said, "I don't want to say that ya, it's all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn't always easy. When you are involved with anybody, whether it's friends, professionally, romantically, especially if I am, I get involved and invested. It is not like, 'Oh yeah, it doesn't really matter, whatever its today, whatever its tomorrow'. It's not like that. It does effect you. But ultimately you have to rise beyond that."

Now, Kartik Aaryan who is known for keeping his personal life under wraps, expressed his views on his relationships being discussed on public platforms. Kartik during the interview expressed the importance of mutual respect and privacy in such matters.

He said, "Ek cheez mujhe lagti hai - relationship agar do logo ki hai toh dusre insaan ko bhi woh baatein nehi karni chahiye. Hum sab ko apni relationship ki respect karni chahiye." (One thing I believe - if a relationship involves two people, then those details should not be discussed by the other person. We all should respect our relationships.)

He further highlighted his own approach to privacy in relationships and revealed that he has never spoken about his personal life and expects the same from his partner. He added, "I expect the same from my [partner]. It's not good for someone to speak about the relationship. If things don't work out... par jab aap saath hote ho kisike toh you don't imagine it to be like that. You don't imagine ke yeh khatam ho jayega. I think you should respect that time, that moment. I think you should respect yourself also. Aap jab woh baat karte ho toh aisa nahin hai ke samne wala ek hee insaan ke baare mein woh soch raha hota hai, woh dono ke baare mein woh soch raha hota hai."
