Kartik Aaryan, in a tete-a-tete with Film Companion's Anupama Chopra on Film Companion Front Row, opens up about his personal life, relationship with money, and his mother's influence in his life.

Kartik Aaryan on keeping his personal life private

During the chat, the actor was asked about his say on being a constant topic of discussion and gossip on a popular talk show with regard to his personal life and whether it bothers him or takes away from his hard work.

Responding to the same, Kartik stated that he believes if a relationship is between two people, the other person should not talk about it, adding that we should all respect our previous relationships.

He further mentioned that he has never spoken about his relationship and expects the same from his partner. The actor said, "I've never spoken about my personal life, and main wo cheez ko chahta bhi nahi hoon ki main wo baatein karoon khud se. Ek cheez mujhe lagti hai - relationship agar do logo ki hai toh dusre insaan ko bhi woh baat nahi karni chahiye. Hum sab ko apni relationship ki respect karni chahiye. I expect the same from my (partner)."

"It's not good for someone to speak about the relationship. If things don't work out... par jab aap saath mein hote ho kisike toh you don't imagine it to be like that. You don't imagine ki yeh khatam ho jayega. So I think one should respect that time and moment. You should respect yourself also. Aap jab woh baat karte ho toh aisa nahin hai ke samne wala ek hee insaan ko soch raha hota hai, woh dono ke baare mein wohi baat soch raha hota hai. So I think no one should speak about their relationships,' he added.

Moving further, Kartik Aaryan got candid about his mother's strong influence in his life and his relationship with money. He shared, "Mummy mere paise sambhalti hain poora. I'm proud of my mom because she's a doctor and almost retired, but she has left that at her prime and just started doing this work for me selflessly. I've to ask for her permission (in terms of money). I wanted to buy a car on my birthday and I asked her, aur mummy ne mana kar diya ki paise nahi hain (laughs). I'm lucky to have someone like her in my life."

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan is currently busy with his upcoming sports drama, 'Chandu Champion'. The film marks the actor's first collaboration with director Kabir Khan. In addition to this, he also has Hansal Mehta's 'Captain India', Anurag Basu's 'Aashiqui 3', and the horror comedy 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'.
