Filmfare Femina Bhojpuri Icons: Khesari Lal Yadav Hugs Rival Pawan Singh; Latter’s Reaction Goes Viral

The first edition of the Filmfare Femina Bhojpuri Icons Awards which took place during the weekend turned out to be a night to remember. Several megastars from the industry were seen marking their presence at the grand event and several pics and videos have been surfacing on social media.

Amid this, renowned singers and rivals Khesari Lal Yadav and Pawan Singh made the headlines as they were seen sharing the stage reportedly for the first time post their tiff. During the event, Khesari and Pawan were invited to the stage by host Ravi Kishen and the latter encouraged them to resolve their differences.

This happened after Ravi held Khesari and Pawan's respective hands and spoke about how everyone in the Bhojpuri industry world has been waiting for this iconic moment of watching the two singers together. Soon, Khesari intervened and stated, "Humare beech na jhagda tha, na hai aur na kabhi aage rahega. Ye humesha mere bade bhai aur guardian rahe hain. Jab tak hum is dharti par rahenge, wo humesha humse bade hi rahenge".

He then went on to hug Pawan. It was indeed a special moment wherein Khesari was seen burying the hatchet with his arch rival. However, it was Pawan's special gesture towards Khesari that is going viral on social media. Post the iconic reunion, Pawan dedicated a special song for Khesari and that went on to win hearts.

Later, several post event pics also went viral wherein the duo were seen celebrating their reunion.

For the uninitiated, Khesari and Pawan have been at loggerheads after Khesari Lal Yadav's video went viral wherein he was seen targetting the new actors of the industry and had reportedly made some mean remarks. Later Pawan reacted to the same and said, "Koi yahan ja raha hai koi wahan, jise jahan jana hai wahan jaye. Hum wahan kabka kaam karke aa chuke hain. Is tarah ke log kabhi ye kalpana bhi nahi kar sakte ki Pawan Singh kahan kahan gana gaayenge. Kuch log akad me rehte hain aur 5 hazar me kahin bhi gaana gaate hain".

Ever since then, Khesari and Pawan were seen targeting each other indirectly at several occasions. And now that they have resolved their differences, it will be interesting to see if the duo will be seen collaborating with each other anytime soon.
