Isne Yeh Kyun Kiya..: Kiara Advani Reveals Being TROLLED After Her Marriage; Recalls Hubby Sidharth's Advice

Kiara Advani: Actress Kiara Advani has been grabbing headlines this year, first for her marriage with Sidharth Malhotra and secondly for her recently released romantic drama Satyaprem Ki Katha with her Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 co-star Kartik Aaryan.

The diva recently opened up about being upset when trolls targeted her online for being married. She also revealed that there was negativity around the film as it was her first after marriage and how her husband, Sidharth Malhotra, helped her deal with such things.

Kiara Advani, in an interview with Film Companion, recalled being trolled right after her marriage and revealed it made her feel negative. "For the first time, I felt a sense of overbearing, overpowering me with social media during the time when Satyaprem Ki Katha was coming out. Because I was just married," she shared.

She then added, "I felt like there was very weird negativity going on about certain scenes 'Oh isne yeh kiu kia hai, woh kiu kia hai. Maybe it was to do with 'Oh now she is married' all of that. I just felt like 'Wait! What just happened here?"

Pointing out that it was all new for her, Kiara said that it was ridiculous as people were trolling her for being a married actor, and they expect you to say or do thighs in a certain way. She then confessed that it all got into her and also affected her.

Admitting that she read everything that was being said about her online, Kiara then recalled how her husband, Sidharth Malhotra, helped her deal with these trolls. She said, "He said 'Look there will always be these negative trollers...but if you're gonna give so much importance to this, be sitting at home and crying and behaving like s**t has hit the roof right now."

She continued, saying, "What's wrong with you? You don't know them. They don't know you. These could be like certain fans who did not like we got married. Just let it be. Why are you getting into it?' I realised if he is so mature about it, why am I sitting and feeling all of these things?"

She then added that she is fortunate to have someone who is mature and has got the wisdom to handle such matters.

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra got married on February 7 at Jaisalmer's grand Suryagarh Palace in an intimate ceremony. The couple started dating each other in 2021, when they were working together for Shershaah.
