Bollywood
has
given
several
mavericks
over
the
years
who
have
managed
to
rule
millions
of
hearts
over
the
years.
Among
such
legends
was
Kishore
Kumar,
who
has
been
a
renowned
actor
and
an
iconic
singer
in
the
industry.
Born
as
Abhas
Kumar
Ganguly,
Kishore
Kumar
made
his
debut
as
a
singer
with
the
1948
release
Ziddi
wherein
he
sang
the
song
MarneKi
Duayen
Kon
Mangu
and
ever
since
then
there
was
no
looking
back
for
him.
In
his
journey
of
over
four
decades,
Kishore
Kumar
struck
the
right
chord
with
millions
of
hearts
with
his
soulful
voice
and
vibrance.
From
romantic
numbers
to
songs
of
heartbreak,
Kishore
Kumar
had
a
song
for
almost
every
genre.
Besides,
Kishore
Kumar
was
also
known
for
his
acting
skills
and
quirky
and
humourous
behaviour.
And
while
it's
been
around
36
years
since
we
lost
the
legend
the
world
continues
to
miss
his
charm.
In
fact,
the
fans
have
kept
him
alive
with
his
songs
which
are
a
treat
for
the
soul.
On
his
94th
birth
anniversary,
as
the
nation
is
reliving
his
magic
through
his
songs,
did
you
know
he
had
a
sixth
sense
about
his
demise?
The
revelation
was
made
by
his
son
Amit
Kumar
who
revealed
how
the
late
singer's
wife
Leena
Chandavarkar
thought
of
him
playing
a
prank
on
her
when
he
was
dying
of
a
heart
attack.
Yes!
It's
true.
In
an
interview
with
Rediff
in
2002,
Amit
stated,
"He
seemed
to
have
a
sixth
sense
even
of
his
death...
On
that
day,
he
refused
to
allow
[Amit's
stepbrother]
Sumeet
to
go
swimming
and
was
very
anxious
that
my
flight
from
Canada
would
land
on
time.
He
was
suffering
from
symptoms
of
a
heart
attack
but
joked
that
if
we
called
a
doctor,
he
would
have
a
heart
attack.
In
fact,
he
was
laughing
and
talking
with
Leena
when
he
keeled
over.
Leena
at
first
thought
that
he
was
playing
a
prank".
Kishore
Kumar
breathed
his
last
in
1987.
Meanwhile,
there
are
reports
about
Anurag
Basu
making
a
biopic
on
Kishore
Kumar.
The
media
reports
also
suggested
that
Ranbir
Kapoor
will
be
essaying
Kishore
Kumar's
role
in
the
movie.
However,
other
reports
claim
that
Amit
Kumar
&
Leena
Chandavarkar
haven't
given
the
rights
for
the
biopic
as
of
now.
