Malaika Arora recently opened up about being called a sex symbol and addressed how she is much more than just a few item numbers. "I love being called a sex symbol. I have no qualms about being a sex symbol. I would rather be known as a sex symbol than being called Plain Jane. I am very happy and I like that tag (sex symbol)," she said at the India Today Conclave 2023.

She further talked about how, in an industry where a female celeb's importance matters owing to her youth, she has managed to remain relevant for over 30 years and it is not only because of her pretty face. "I am more than just a few songs, a few item songs. I am a lot more than that. Initially, that's all one was looked at as - 'she is a pretty face, has a great body, she looks fantastic on screen when she dances, moves well', but I think staying relevant for over 30 years is not easy. And you cannot just do that, harbouring on good looks. At some point, those looks are going to fade away and you have to move beyond that look," she added.

She also talked about several other things and insecurities she faces in her everyday life. During the conversations, he also opened up about her marriage plans with boyfriend Arjun Kapoor and how co-parenting will always be difficult for her. The actress has been entertaining the audience with her amazing dance movies for a long time.
