Manoj Bajpayee Reunites With Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai Team, Turns Producer With Bhaiyaaji

Bhaiyaaji Update: Acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee is confirmed to take the lead in the upcoming action-drama film Bhaiyaaji, in a dual role as both the actor and a producer. This venture marks the second collaboration among Bajpayee, director Apoorv Singh Karki, and producer Vinod Bhanushali, following the well-received digital release of their critically-acclaimed film Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai.

Bhaiyaaji is set to delve into themes of familial loyalty and vengeance for personal grievances, as highlighted by the filmmakers in a press announcement.

Scripted by Deepak Kingrani, the movie is set to revive the rich dialogues reminiscent of the 1970s and 1980s Hindi cinema. Manoj Bajpayee, eager to immerse himself in the intense world of Bhaiyaaji, expressed his enthusiasm as it marks his production debut

The 54-year-old actor conveyed, "I am thrilled to step into the world of Bhaiyaaji. It will be a raw and intense character that I am excited to bring to life. A thorough mainstream entertainer that 'Bhaiyaaji' is, (it) made me decide to collaborate with Apoorv Singh Karki, who directed 'Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai' and become the producer for this one along with the lovely team."

Director Apoorv Singh Karki also chimed in, sharing his eagerness to embark on this unique cinematic journey, distinguishing Bhaiyaaji from his previous release, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai.

The director explained that Bhaiyaaji is a journey which depicts the unrefined and unvarnished essence of the characters within the context of a gripping revenge saga, while also highlighting the power and emotions inherent in familial connections. Following the impactful narrative of Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, Apoorv yearned to delve into an entirely distinct cinematic approach, and Bhaiyaaji" presented itself as the ideal film for his creative exploration.

Production for Bhaiyaaji is scheduled to commence in mid-September, with a 45-day shooting schedule set across the landscape of Uttar Pradesh. As the anticipation builds, Manoj Bajpayee's involvement as both lead actor and producer is expected to infuse the project with an added layer of creativity and dedication.
