Mrunal Thakur's Hi Nanna inspired by KKHH?
After the Hi Nanna trailer was unveiled, several social media users drew parallels between the movie story and the 1998 Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji starrer romantic drama movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which was Karan Johar's debut directorial.
Apart from KKHH, people are also comparing Hi Nanna's story with Nagarjuna starrer Santosham, which was released in 2002. And now, reacting to the comparisons, the film's director, Shouryuv, clarified in a press conference that Hi Nanna has nothing to do with either of the films.
He stated, "These movies only come to mind because a single father finds love again in my film." He then added, "This is a fictional story based on things I've seen around me."
