Mumbai Police has asked Alia Bhatt to file a complaint against the paparazzi who invaded her privacy.

In the latest development in Alia Bhatt's 'invasion of privacy' matter, Mumbai Police has reached out to the actress and asked her to file a complaint. The actress has said that her PR team is in contact with the concerned portal. Earlier, the actress had taken to social media to criticize a publication that had shared pictures of her sitting inside her living room.
Alia Bhatt Criticizes Media Portal
On Tuesday, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share a collage of two pictures which shows her sitting in her living room. Slamming the publication, Alia in a furious note wrote, "Are you kidding me? I was at my house having a perfectly normal afternoon sitting in my LIVING ROOM when I felt someone watching me... I looked up and saw two men on the terrace of my neighbouring building with a camera right at me! In what world is this okay and allowed? this is a gross invasion of someone's privacy. There's a line you just cannot cross and it's safe to say all lines were crossed today!" The actress had tagged Mumbai Police in the post.

Bollywood Celebs Come Out In Support Of Alia Bhatt
Bollywood celebrities including Anushaka Sharma, Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor came out in support of the Gangubai actress and even shared similar incidents. Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma shared her experience, where she had requested the paparazzi to refrain from sharing her daughter's picture.
Condemning Alia's incident, she wrote, "This is not the first time they are doing this. About two years ago we called them out for the same reason! You'd think it would have made them more respectful of people's space and privacy. Absolutely shameful! They were also the only guys posting photos of our daughter despite repeated requests."
Janhvi Kapoor shared an incident where she was clicked through the glass door of a gym and termed the incident "disgustingly intrusive."
