Mumbai Police Get Adil Khan’s Custody, Rakhi Sawant Says “Pehli Baar Aise Hua Hai Ki Pehle Suhagraat..."

In the latest development in the Rakhi Sawant marriage row, Mumbai Police has got the custody of her estranged husband, Adil Khan Durrani till February 20. Earlier, Adil was taken in judicial custody on February 7 after the actress lodged an FIR accusing him of domestic violence, infidelity, and mishandling of her funds in her absence.

During the media interaction, Rakhi's lawyer said that "Jis aaropi ki police custody ke liye hum abhi tak jidd-o-jahd kar rahe the usko aaj court ne 20 tarikh tak police custody de di."

Rakhi Sawant said 'aaj Rakhi Sawant ko nyay nahi mila hai, balki ek hindustan ki mahila jo pidit hai usko nyay mila hai'.

She added, 'pehli baar itihas racha gaya hai, pehle shadi hoti hai phir suhagraat hoti hai. Ye pehli baar aisa hua hai ki pehle suhagraat hui hai phir shaadi hui hai. To iska matlab ye hai ki jab aaropi ko phle police custody milti hai phir judicial custody milti hai lekin yaha par pehle judicial custody mili aur aaj police custody mili hai.

Talking about the lawyers, she said 'Ye jo bhai behen yaha khade hai, ek rupaya ka fayada na dekhte hue, ye jo lade hain aur mujhe nyay dilaya hai.'

She touched the feet of lawyers and requested them help her further.

Further talking about Adil as they met after a long time, she said that he did not speak anything, rather, he was glaring at her.

For the unversed, a case was registered against Adil under sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 377 (unnatural offences), 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust) 498-A (husband subjecting woman to cruelty), 504 (intentional insult) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the IPC.

Earlier, Rakhi Sawant's husband was produced before Dindoshi sessions court where the request for his remand by Mumbai Police was rejected. He was then sent for judicial custody, where he even moved a bail application, that was also rejected.
