Haal-E-Dil Singer Harshit Saxena Ties The Knot With Actor Samonica Shrivastava

Harshit Saxena Wedding: Singer-Composer Harshit Saxena tied the nuptial knot in an intimate ceremony with actress Samonica Shrivastava. The wedding took place at a five-star hotel in Chhattisgarh last month on February 9. Revealing the details about the wedding, the Hale-E-Dil singer told Hindustan Times that though Samonica and he had known each other, it was their parents, who formalized the wedding.

Harshit Saxena Had An Arrainge Marriage With Samonica Shrivastava

The singer said, "Samonica and I met in Mumbai. We were acquaintances, but our parents thought we made a good match. Her mother reached out to us and that's how things got formalized. It's an arranged marriage."

Samonica belongs to Raigarh in Chattisgarh and that's where the wedding took place on February 9 at a five-star hotel. The singer said that the wedding was a three-day affair and they got engaged two days before their wedding. The engagement ceremony was followed by haldi and mehendi ceremonies.

The wedding rituals were performed in the presence of their close friends and family members. The wedding was attended by lyricist Sameer Anjaan who is like family to the singer. "Sameer ji is like family. He and his family were a part of every function," the singer told the news portal.

Harshit Saxena and Samonica Shrivastava's Reception Party

Further revealing the reason why, he kept his wedding under wraps for quite some time, the singer said that he had a very busy work and travel schedule. He had several shows lined up just after the wedding. The composer further revealed that once his work commitments ease off, he plans to hold a reception party for his industry friends in Mumbai and another in his hometown, Lucknow Uttar Pradesh.

For the unversed, Samonica Shrivastava is known for the 2017 film, Flat 211. The film had failed to create a buzz.
