Nitin Desai Death: Art Director’s Close Friend Makes BIG Revelations; Says, ‘He Was Pressurised To…’

Nitin Desai Death: Nitin Desai's unfortunate demise left a void in the hearts of his family and friends. The art director who committed suicide on August 2 was facing financial turbulence and was under pressure for the repayment of a loan.
Now, days after his death, his close associate, Nitin Kulkarni has made some big revelations against the finance company and said that Desai had been subjected to pressure with regards to loan repayment. This strain became unbearable for him, ultimately leading to the tragic decision he took.
During an interview with ETimes, he said, "I am trying to get a meeting with chief minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Mr Ajit dada Pawar to help find a way that Nitin Desai's wife, who is one of the directors of the studio, does not have to face any more torture and pressure from the lendor company and bear the liabilities of the studio."
He further added, "Incidentally, Desai's birthday fell on August 6 and his wife and his daughter insisted on celebrating his birthday before his daughter could leave for the US. But Desai told them that this year he would not be celebrating his birthday. Nobody even in their wildest thoughts imagined that not celebrating the birthday would mean something as gruesome as this."
Kulkarni who was working with Desai for a long time also revealed that he had returned from Delhi on the day he took his life after making his last effort to save the studio.
Meanwhile, the police had booked four officials of the financing company, Edelweiss Asset Reconstruction Company Limited who were questioned on Tuesday. They will now be summoned by the police for further inquiries on Friday.
In the initial investigation, the police found out that the documentation pertaining to the two loans acquired by Desai is insufficient and inadequate. The authorities have asked the officials to bring additional necessary documents during the Friday session.
During the Tuesday interrogation which lasted for almost 8.30 hours, the officials maintained that no inappropriate pressure was applied to Desai in relation to his loans.
