Nushrratt Bharuccha currently gearing up for her next release, Chatrapathi, addressed the rumours of her dating Honey Singh and told Indian Express, "You know what? Yeh mere life ka pehla dating rumour hai (This is my life's first dating rumour). Everywhere that I have been, there has been no rumour. Also, because I have never been with anyone. When this came, I was like 'Wow, I finally have one'. Now when people ask me these questions in rapid fire, I can at least tell them that I too had a dating rumour."

She further added that, "I think people have no work in life and they also have a great imagination. So karte raho (keep them coming), I have no problem."

For the unversed, both Nushrratt Bharuccha and Honey Singh have worked together on the song "Saiyaan Ji," which was released in 2021 and became an instant hit. The song features Nushrratt Bharuccha in a music video with Honey Singh, and the catchy tune and dance moves made it a viral sensation on social media platforms.

Directed by VV Vinayak, Chatrapathi is an official Hindi remake of SS Rajamouli's Prabhas-starrer film with the same title. The film also features Bhagyashree, Karan Singh Chabra, and Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles.
