a
harrowing
ordeal
while
attending
the
Haifa
International
Film
Festival
in
Israel.
The
actress
was
stranded
in
the
midst
of
a
war
between
Israel
and
Palestine.
Nushrratt
Bharuccha,
known
for
her
roles
in
several
Bollywood
films,
had
been
in
Israel
to
attend
the
prestigious
film
festival
when
the
situation
took
a
dire
turn.
Today,
the
actress
took
to
to
her
official
Instagram
account
and
posted
a
heartfelt
video
message
in
which
she
expressed
her
gratitude
to
her
well-wishers
and
the
government
of
India
for
their
support
during
her
difficult
time
in
Israel.

the
video
message,
Nushrratt
can
be
heard
saying,
"Hi
everyone,
I
wanted
to
take
a
moment
and
thank
you
to
everyone
for
their
messages,
prayers,
and
wishes.
I
am
back,
I'm
home,
safe
and
fine.
But
two
days
back,
I
woke
up
in
a
hotel
room
with
defeaning
bomb
sounds
and
sirens
blaring
and
we
were
taken
down
to
a
basement
and
shelter
areas
and..."
She
further
added,
" Main
phle
kabhi
sisi
situation
mein
rahi
nahi
hun
but
aaj
jab
main
apne
ghar
mein
uthi
hun
with
no
sounds
and
feeling
safe
and
feeling
fine
to
mujhe
ye
realise
ho
raha
ki
ye
kitni
badi
baat
hai.
hum
kitne
fortunate
hain
ki
hum
is
country
mein
hain,
ki
hum
protected
hain...
hum
safe
hai.
So
I
want
to
take
this
moment
to
thank
the
government
of
India...
say
thank

to
the
Indian
embassy...
say
thank

the
Israel
embassy
for
guiding
us...
for
advicing
us
and
making
it
possible
for
me
to
come
back
home...
to
my
country
safe
and
sound.

member
from
her
team
had
shared
the
information
about
her
being
stranded
in
Israel.
The
person
said,
"The
last
time
that
I
managed
to
get
in
touch
with
her
was
around
12.30
pm
earlier
today,
when
she
was
safe
in
a
basement.
For
safety
measures,
further
details
cannot
be
disclosed.
However,
since
then,
we
have
not
been
able
to
connect.
We
are
trying
to
get
Nushrratt
back
safely
to
India
and
hope
she
returns
in
the
best
of
health
and
unharmed."
