Oscars 2023: RRR Actors Ram Charan, Jr NTR, SS Rajamouli Take Indian Ethnic Fashion To The Academy, See PICS

RRR Oscars 2023: The world's biggest and most prestigious awards ceremony, the 95th Academy Awards, or Oscars, are finally here. The Telugu feature film RRR has been nominated in the Best Original Song category, and the team has arrived in style. SS Rajmouli's magnum opus's superhit song has been creating havoc across the world, and ever since the movie got a nod, RRR has been creating ripples across the US. Actors Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and star director Rajamouli arrived at the 95th Academy Awards in style as they rooted for their win and MM Keeravani, the composer of Naatu Naatu.

SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan walked the champagne-coloured carpet in stylish Indian ethnic ensembles. Ram Charan was seen posing with his pregnant wife, Upasana Kamineni, while NTR made a soaring solo appearance. The two stars brought Indian elegance to the prestigious stage. Ram Charan wore a three-piece velvet ensemble, and NTR picked an embellished outfit that had a tiger motif (Tiger is the national animal of India) made on it. Attributing his look to his roots, Jr NTR's look was a tribute to his motherland. He even shared a few pics on Instagram and captioned his post: "The Oscars. #Oscars95."

NTR's sleek black jacquard ensemble was from designer Gaurav Gupta, featuring a bandhgala kurta and tiger motif in gold on one shoulder with an angrakha style neckline, full-length sleeves, and padded shoulders. He paired the outfit with matching pants, and went for a rugged beard look. NTR teamed the black outfit with sleek dress shoes and a pulled-back hairstyle to complete his red carpet look.

Speaking about his look, Jr NTR said, "I have the tiger, the national animal of India here. It's not going to be an actor from RRR who's walking the carpet, but India that walks the carpet."

RAM CHARAN

Ram Charan's attire consisted of a three-piece velvet suit, which included a bandhgala jacket with a unique asymmetrical kurta and straight-fitting matching pants. The jacket featured a bandhgala collar, full-length sleeves with padding, a tailored fit, front closures with gold-toned buttons, a fashionable brooch, and a sharp appearance. Meanwhile, the draped silhouette and asymmetrical hem of the kurta added to the outfit's distinctiveness.

To complete his look, Ram wore elegant black dress shoes and a striking watch. To add the finishing touches, he opted for a well-groomed, trimmed beard and sleeked-back hair. Meanwhile, his wife wore an off-white silk saree with embroidered borders that perfectly complemented his outfit. She accessorized with a statement neckpiece, bracelets, earrings, and an embellished handbag. A low bun and striking makeup provided the final touches to her look.
