During an interview with ETimes, Palak shared how her mother, Shweta Tiwari reacts to her dating rumours. She said that her mom Shweta is like any other mother who gets apprehensive about it. She revealed that whenever Shweta Tiwari comes across any report of her dating rumours, she asks her about them.

The entertainment portal quoted Palak as saying, "She often wonders, 'Am I sending my daughter out too much or if she is partying too much?'. When she sees these dating rumours, she sends me the links and asks me, ' Who is this or where did this come from? 'And my replies are koi nahi hai kyunki sach mein koi nahi hai. It is just my mother, my brother and me"

She further said that she and her mother trust each other and value their bond. So even though Shweta becomes apprehensive about her dating buzz, she never questions her. Palak elaborated, saying, "We have that basic trust in each other, which is the prerequisite in any relationship, and we value it extremely."

Recently, Palak opened up about her relationship with Ibrahim Ali Khan. She was asked if she got any text from Ibrahim after the release of the trailer of her debut film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. To this Palak said that they only see each other at social gatherings and are not in touch daily. She maintained that they are just friends and further revealed that she is very fond of Ibrahim.
