In
what
came
as
a
shocking
incident
in
the
Bollywood
industry,
Yash
Chopra's
wife
Pamela
Chopra
passed
away
this
morning
(April
20).
She
was
74.
The
news
of
her
sudden
demise
has
sent
a
wave
of
shock
and
grief
across
the
industry.
It
is
indeed
a
heartbreaking
moment
for
her
sons
Uday
Chopra
and
Aditya
Chopra
and
daughter
in
law
Rani
Mukerji.
According
to
media
reports,
Pamela
was
facing
health
issues
for
a
while
and
was
admitted
in
Mumbai's
Lilavati
Hospital
for
15
days
now.
The
media
reports
further
suggested
that
she
was
put
on
a
ventilator,
however,
her
health
continued
to
deteriorate
and
she
breathed
her
last
on
Thursday
morning.
To
note,
the
YRF
family
is
yet
to
issue
a
statement
in
this
regard.
For
the
uninitiated,
Pamela
Chopra
was
a
well
known
playback
singer
and
a
film
producer.
In
fact,
she
had
sung
several
songs
in
Yash
Raj's
films
like
Kabhie
Kabhie,
Chandni
etc.
This
isn't
all.
She
had
even
co-written
the
script
of
Yash
Raj's
iconic
release
Dil
To
Pagal
Hai
with
Aditya
Chopra
and
Tanuja
Chandra
and
even
appeared
on
the
screen
with
the
ace
filmmaker
in
the
song
Ek
Duje
Ke
Vaaste
and
the
senior
couple's
chemistry
made
everyone
go
aww.
