Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha Wedding: The picturesque city of Udaipur is all set to witness yet another high-profile and royal wedding as Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is getting hitched to her beau politician Raghav Chadha on Sunday, September 24.

The couple will be exchanging their vows amidst grandeur, and both their families and friends from Bollywood and the political world have already arrived in the city to bless the couple. Parineeti and Raghav will tie the knot near Lake Pichola in Udaipur.

As per reports, the baraat will travel from the Taj Lake Palace to The Leela Palace by boat. The bride-to-be is reported to wear a Manish Malhotra outfit, while Raghav Chadha has chosen his uncle, designer Pawan Sachdeva, for the big day.

Parineeti-Raghav guests

Designer Manish Malhotra, Parineeti's best friend and tennis player Sania Mirza, and her sister Anam were spotted arriving at Udaipur airport. Filmmaker Karan Johar is expected to join the wedding festivities soon.

Earlier, actors Bhagyashree and Shailesh Lodha, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann were seen arriving for the wedding. Priyanka Chopra, who is Pari's cousin sister, will skip.

Parineeti's chooda ceremony

According to reports, Raghav's sehrabandi started at 1 pm at The Taj Lake Palace, while Parineeti's chooda ceremony also began at the same time at The Leela Palace. After this, the baraat will proceed to the wedding venue by 2:30 p.m.

The jaimala ceremony will take place at 3:30 pm, with the pharas to begin at 4 pm. The actress' vidai is scheduled for 6 p.m., which will be followed by a grand reception at 8:30 p.m. The theme of the reception is 'A Night of Amore'.

Parineeti-Raghav haldi ceremony details

Reportedly, Parineeti and Raghav haldi commenced on September 23, Saturday, with both of their families celebrating the ritual together. It is reported that the Chopra and Chadha families indulged in a traditional Gidda performance, a folk dance from Punjab.

The guests were served Asian and Indian delicacies, and after the event, Parineeti and Raghav hosted a musical sangeet.

From the first glimpse of the sangeet, we see that Parineeti opted for minimalist mehendi, ditching the elbow-length traditional one. Whereas, she picked a glittering silver lehenga, which she paired with an elegant cape. She added dazzling accessories to complement her look.

Talking about the sangeet night, well-known Punjabi singer Navraj Hans performed for the couple.

The wedding reception will take place on September 30 in Chandigarh.
