Playback Singer Priya Patidar Turns Lyricist

Singer Priya Patidar known known for singing theatre version of popular song Do Dhaari Talwaar along with Shweta Pandit and Shahid Mallya in 2011 movie Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, turns Lyricist with her song 'Tasveer' composed by Vikram Montrose.

Talking about her experience working with the music director Vikram Montrose. Priya said, "Collaborating with Vikram on this single has been an incredible journey of creativity and synergy. His ability to understand my artistic vision while infusing his own expertise has been a true gift and what I like the most about Vikram is that he lets a singer own the song completely by letting them free to do all the improvisation or experiments they want to do with the song and that really helps a singer to connect with the song easily."

Priya known for playback singing in bollywood and in many languages Gujrati, Punjabi, Bengali and Marwadi songs. Sharing about her new journey she continued, "Writing this love song was a truly an exciting & heartfelt experience for me. As I delved into the writing process, I aimed to capture the essence of a deep and genuine connection. The song reflects the emotions, vulnerability, and strength that love brings, particularly from a female perspective. I wanted to portray a sense of authenticity, celebrating the complexities and beauty of love in all its forms. Every lyric was crafted with the intention of resonating with listeners who have experienced or long for such a profound bond. This song holds a special place in my heart as it's my debut as a songwriter, and I hope it touches the hearts of those who listen, reminding them of the universal power of love."

Whats more challenging song writing or singing?

Priya answered, "I will say definitely for me writing is more challenging than singing as I am a budding songwriter but both singing and writing lyrics are demanding in their own ways, crafting the lyrics presented a unique challenge. Writing requires distilling complex emotions into precise words, ensuring they resonate deeply. It involves unearthing the perfect expressions to convey the intended message. Singing, while emotionally charged, benefits from melody and rhythm. Writing demands a raw vulnerability that can sometimes make it tougher to capture the depth of sentiment accurately."
