Priyanka Chopra RRR: Desi girl Priyanka Chopra is hogging headlines for all the right reasons. The global star is currently in the best phase of her life, as she has been enjoying motherhood. The actress is also making her digital debut with Citadel, for which she is currently on a promotional spree.

The actress recently received huge flak online for calling RRR a Tamil movie on Dax Shepherd's podcast, Armchair Expert. While making Dax understand that RRR is not a Bollywood movie, Chopra mistakenly called it a Tamil movie. Note, RRR is a Telugu film and was dubbed in various Indian languages.

PRIYANKA CHOPRA REACTS TO TROLLS SHE RECEIVED FOR CALLING RRR TAMIL FILM

During the promotion of Citadel, Priyanka opened up about her goof up and said that people love trolling her and find mistakes in whatever she does. Speaking to Mid-day, she said, "People try to find a mistake in anything I do. I think people enjoy that a little bit. I was a lot more free-spirited, but now, I am a bit more cautious because I have my family to think about."

She further added, "The higher you go in life, the more people look for a reason for you to fall. But at the same time, I have so much love and support from my family, friends and fans. I prefer to focus on that."

WHAT DID PRIYANKA CHOPRA SAY IN THE PODCAST?

When Dax compared Bollywood to Hollywood of the 1950s in his podcast, he said that only a few studios had all the power back then. To which Chopra said, "I don't think you are far from it. I think that was what it was... big studios, five actors... big movies will be made by them; but the game is changed so much now. First of all, it's streaming. It has given access to so many people who are making content."

She went on to say that Bollywood has changed dramatically over the years. "You have the mainstream big action and the love story and the dancing..." she shared. Dax then mentioned RRR and Priyanka had 'corrected' him saying, "That's a Tamil movie by the way." She had added, "It's like big, mega, blockbuster Tamil which does all of those... it's like our Avengers."

The Don 2 actress was brutally trolled for calling RRR a Tamil film, as netizens schooled her.
