The Haryanvi music industry witnessed one of the most heartbreaking news lately after a renowned singer and music composer passed away. We are talking about Raju Punjabi who is a well known personality in the Haryanvi music industry. He is known for giving several iconic numbers including Aacha Lage Se, Mithi Boli, Solid Body, Desi Desi, Last Peg, Dewar Ladla etc
It is reported that Raju Punjabi passed away on August 22 after battling with Kala Piliya aka Hepatitis C for a while. He died while undergoing a treatment in a private hospital. He was 40. While Raju Punjabi's demise has sent a wave of shock and grief across the showbiz industry, the social media is abuzz with heartfelt tributes for the singer.
Amid this, the real reason behind Raju Punjabi's demise has been revealed and it is breaking hearts. According to a report published in Amar Ujala, Raju Punjabi died of a liver infection. The media reports suggested that while the singer was hospitalised on August 8 owing to Hepatitis C and was discharged on August 17 post her recovery.
However, Raju was rushed to the hospital on August 21 after his health deteriorated. It was reported that he witnessed low blood pressure and a lack of blood. The report in Amar Ujala also asserted that his stomach was filled with water due to liver infection. In fact, the doctors had reportedly removed around 750 gms of water from his stomach. Following the infection, Raju breathed his last on August 22.
Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Raju Punjabi's latest song Aapse Milke Yaara Mujhko Acha Laga had released just 10 days before his unfortunate demise. It is reported that it took Raju Punjabi around 2 years to complete the song and it has been receiving a great response from the audience.
