Raju Punjabi Death: Haryanvi Singer’s LAST Picture From Hospital Goes Viral Post Demise; Fans Pay Tribute

Haryana is currently in a state of grief as it has lost a renowned singer and musician. We are talking about ace singer Raju Punjabi who breathed his last today at the age of 40. According to media reports, Raju Punjabi died of Hepatitis C also known as 'Kala Piliya' and passed away at a private hospital in Hissar wherein he was undergoing treatment for around 10 days now.

The news of his unfortunate demise came 10 days after the release of his song Aapse Milke Yaara Mujhko Acha Laga which turns out to be his last song. And while the social media is abuzz with heartfelt tributes for Raju Punjabi, the late singer's last pic from the hospital has been going viral on social media.

The pic was shared by Singer KD Desi Rock on micro-blogging site Twitter now known as X, wherein Raju was seen lying on the hospital bed wearing an oxygen mask and the machine showing the condition of his vitals. KD captioned post as, "Raju wapis aaja #RajuPunjabi" along with several crying emoticons.

On the other hand, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also mourned Raju Punjabi's demise and tweeted, "प्रसिद्ध हरियाणवी गायक एवं संगीत निर्माता राजू पंजाबी जी के निधन का दुखद समाचार प्राप्त हुआ। उनका जाना हरियाणा म्यूजिक इंडस्ट्री के लिए अपूरणीय क्षति है। ईश्वर दिवंगत आत्मा को अपने श्री चरणों में स्थान दें तथा उनके परिजनों को यह अथाह दुःख सहन करने की शक्ति प्रदान करें। ॐ शांति!"

Several fans also shared tweets mourning Raju Punjabi's demise, a Twitter user wrote, "हिम्मत नहीं जुटा पा रहा था फिर भी नम आंखों से दुखद संदेश हरियाणवी संगीत को बड़ा आयाम देने वाले बहुत ही अद्भुत गायक, दिल के अच्छे इंसान हरियाणवी गायकभाई #RajuPunjabi आज ये दुनिया छोड़ कर चले गए श्रद्धांजलि". Another user tweeted, "राजस्थान में जन्म लेकर हरियाणा म्यूजिक को बुलंदियों पर ले जाने वाली आवाज इतना जल्दी खामोश हो जायेगी RIP raju punjabi भगवान आपकी आत्मा को शांति दे #राजू_पंजाबी #rajupunjabi"

It is reported that Raju Punjabi is survived by his wife and two daughters Bindu and Nobita. His funeral was performed at his native village in Rawatsar Kheda. Talking about the work front, his last song Aapse Milke Yaara Mujhko Acha Laga which was released on August 12, has been receiving a massive response from the audience.

To note, Raju Punjabi is known for giving several iconic hits like Aacha Lage Se, Mithi Boli, Solid Body, Desi Desi, Last Peg, Dewar Ladla etc. Besides, his collaboration with Sapna Choudhary was also quite popular among fans and together they have given songs like Sweety, Panihari, Jalebi, Miss India etc.
