Rakhi Sawant Brother Arrested In Cheque Bounce Case: The queen of controversies Rakhi Sawant is once again grabbing the headlines. This time it's rather because of her brother Rakesh Sawant's arrest in an old cheque bounce case.

RAKESH SAWANT WAS ARRESTED BY THE OSHIWARA POLICE

Rakesh Sawant was arrested on Sunday by the Oshiwara police after a warrant was issued against him by a local court. He was produced before the court on Monday, May 8.

RAKESH SAWANT WAS ACCUSED BY A BUSINESSMAN IN 2020

Rakhi Sawant's brother was accused by a businessman in 2020 after which a complaint against him was filed. The director, producer, and writer, Rakesh was even arrested three years back, however, he was released on conditional bail on the assurance that he will return the money to the businessman.

Rakesh failed to return the money after which he was again taken into custody. The police said that he was arrested on a non-bailable warrant under Section 138 A, Court Case No. 96/ss/2021. The court ordered him judicial custody till May 22.

The police in their statement said, ''Rakesh Anand Sawant is arrested after a non-bailable warrant was issued against him by Andheri metropolitan magistrate's court. He was produced before the court which remanded him to judicial custody."
