Rakhi Sawant filed a domestic abuse and infidelity case against estranged husband Adil Khan Durrani. Adil was arrested and later produced before Andheri court. Now, he has been sent to Arthur Road jail till Monday. Rakhi claimed that Adil used to sexually assault her and also mishandled her savings. The businessman has been charged under sections 406, 498 (A), 377 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Ever since the Main Hoon Na actress filed an FIR against her estranged husband, she is often seen sharing her stories with the media. During a recent interaction, Rakhi said that she had a panic attack after Adil sent her a video with another woman. She was taken to the hospital by her media friends whom she had called. Earlier, when she was asked how she felt after Adil was sent to the Arthur Road Jail, she said that she was not happy and she has become an emotionally-dead person. She said, "Adil ne mujhe zinda laash bana diya hai."

She also said that Adil physically tortured her and she suffered a lot for 7 months. But she did talk about it until it came to a point where she couldn't take it anymore."

Earlier, Rakhi has even alleged that Adil is even currently in a relationship with a certain Tanu Chandel. In an interview with ETimes TV, Rakhi opened about Adil's previous marriag and said, "My life has been destroyed. Main ab zinda laash ho gayi hoon. My mother passed away. My marriage is over. I'm living dead. I will continue to do work. The biggest shock that I've got is that Adil's wife called me and told me, 'I was a Hindu girl. But he forced me to convert to Islam to marry me'."

Rakhi Sawant got married to Adil Khan Durrani on May 29, 2022. Rakhi accepted Islam even changed her name to Fatima.
