Randeep Hooda Lin Laishram Wedding: Talented Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda has been in the spotlight lately owing to reports about his wedding with long-time girlfriend Lin Laishram.

The wedding is said to be an intimate affair with only close friends and family in attendance, and it will take place in Manipur. As per the latest media reports, the couple will get married later this month, followed by a reception in Mumbai.

As per a report by HT, Randeep and Lin's wedding will reportedly have a mythological touch. The two-day event will happen on November 28 and 29 in Manipur. The couple, who have dated each other for a considerable time, reportedly will leave for the northeastern state this weekend.

The wedding festivities will commence in the afternoon and go on until the evening. ETimes reported that the bride and groom will be dressed in traditional Manipuri wedding outfits, and the menu includes Manipuri dishes and singers.

Quoting a source, the portal wrote, "It is going to be a Manipuri wedding taking place in Lin's hometown, Manipur. The lovebirds are keeping everything very simple yet very connected to the roots. It is going to be a traditional wedding with all the customs and rituals being followed."

"The two would also ditch designer outfits for the wedding and don traditional Manipuri wedding trousseau. Their wedding would be sans filmy tadka. From Manipuri food to Manipuri singers, the wedding will be hailing the culture of the state."

Randeep Lin's mythological wedding

A special report by the Hindustan Times stated that Randeep and Lin's private wedding will have a mythological twist. A source told the outlet that a reception party for the Highway actor's film industry colleagues will be held in December in Mumbai.

A source was quoted as saying, "Randeep is a private person, and he doesn't want the media attention for the wedding. And that is one of the reasons he is going to Manipur to get married. Another big reason is because he wants to start the new chapter of his life at a place from where his lady love is".

Talking about the mythological twist, the duo will be taking a leaf from the saga of the Mahabharata. "Arjuna-one of the five Pandava brothers-visited Manipura and married Chitrangada, the princess of the kingdom. And that is the theme of their wedding," the source revealed.
