Ranveer Singh Trolled: Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are all over the internet courtesy of their candid conversation relating to their marriage, relationship, and wedding on the debut episode of Karan Johar's famous chat show Koffee With Karan season 8.

As the duo disclosed various details about their courtship and marriage journey, fans were left impressed by how Ranveer narrated his first meeting with Deepika.

However, eagle-eyed netizens now have found an old clip of the actor from the 2011 celebrity chat show describing meeting ex-girlfriend Anushka Sharma in the same dramatic manner and is getting heavily trolled.

Ranveer shared a similar story about his first meeting with Deepika and Anushka

In the old video, which is now doing the rounds on social media, Ranveer talks about the time he first met Anushka Sharma and says, "I watched Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and was completely mesmerised by Anushka. We go out for dinner, I am with this model and all I can talk about is just Anushka."

Meanwhile, during the latest episode of KWK 8's first episode, Ranveer also said how he loved Deepika's work in Cocktail and recommended her for Goliyon Ki Rasleela-Ramleela. Further, he went on to dramatically narrate how he met her at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's house, which was quite similar to Anushka's story.

Ranveer trolled

A mash-up of Ranveer's stories from both KWK episodes is going viral, with internet users trolling him for 'repurposing' his words. One wrote, "Lol this is definitely one of the foot-in-mouth moments."

A second person said, "that's so embarrassing lol." A third commented, "Hame toh pehle se hi pata hai inka pyar nahi dikhawa hai, yeh log jitna chipaye duniya ko pata chal hi jayega dono open relationship me hai aur apne apne partners ke sath khush hai. Ek Anushka ka hi reaction sahi tha ek dam."

Another added, "cut copy paste." One of the trolls wrote, "He playing his character from Ladies vs Ricky Bahl." One user expressed, "I have special sympathy for the girls who believe these stories and expect such fairy tale in their own lives."

Let us tell you that it was after this Koffee With Karan episode with Anushka that Ranveer began dating Deepika in 2013, when they started working for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.

Both stars got married in 2018 in an intimate wedding in Italy.
