Alia Bhatt, in the titular role of Rani Chatterjee, has charged Rs 10 crore for her role.

Dharmendra

Legendary actor Dharmendra, who plays Rocky's grandfather in the film, is said to have taken Rs 1.5 crore, according to the report.

Jaya Bachchan & Shabana Azmi

Veteran actresses Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi have been paid Rs 1 crore each to be a part of the film. Jaya will be seen playing Rocky's grandmother, while Azmi plays Rani's grandmother.

The film has been made on a budget of Rs 160 crore, assures moviegoers of a quintessential Bollywood romance family drama that has grandeur and exoctic locations.

On Monday, "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" received a U/A certificate from the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) but has undergone some cuts. Some abusive words, the mention of the word bra, and references to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the Lok Sabha, and Rabindranath Tagore have been edited.
