Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway: Rani Mukerji's latest release Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway shows the emotional plight of a mother fighting against the custody of her own children. The film has received rave reviews from critics and fans alike. While the Ashima Chibber directorial ends on a happy note with Rani Mukerji's character getting custody of her children by an Indian court, the reality of Sagarika is far from what the film showed.

SAGARIKA CHAKRABORTY STILL SEPARATED FROM HER CHILDREN

Even after a lengthy battle to win back the custody of her children, the real-life 'Mrs Chatterjee', Sagarika Chakraborty is still struggling to live with her children. Yes, you read that right, the battle of Sagarika continues even after winning custody. As per a report in the Ei Samay, Sagarika is still staying away from her children Abhigyan and Aishwarya for their betterment. In an effort to better the lives of those dependent on Sagarika including her children, she moved to Noida, but their children continue to live in Kolkata.

SAGARIKA'S HUSBAND ANURUP DID NOT SUPPORT HER FINANCIALLY

Amid the battle to win back her children, Sagarika and her husband Anurup lost each other. The two got separated, and while Sagarika returned to Kolkata with her children, her husband decided to continue his life in Norway. Sagarika struggled to live her life as a single mother without any financial support, as Anurup, did not give her any child support money.

Sagarika was quoted as saying in the vernacular, "After getting back Abhigyan and Aishwarya, I tried to become financially independent to raise them I studied software as well. My father is a heart patient while my children study in English medium schools. I needed a lot of money to run the family and take care of my children. Four lives were dependent on me for their survival. I was forced to leave Kolkata and stay outside to earn a livelihood."

Meanwhile, Sagarika who was earlier working in Noida has shifted to Pune for better work opportunities. And her children Aishwarya and Abhigyan are being raised by her maternal grandparents. Sagarika also revealed that she is planning to write another book on her battles after the verdict.
