Salman Khan Death Threat Update: Bollywood actor Salman Khan recently received death threats over emails and calls after which his security was beefed up by the Mumbai police. The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan star was given Y+ category security by the police.
Salman's security was beefed up and he was asked to keep a low profile after he received threats under the name of Goldy Brar from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Now, in the latest update, Mumbai Police has issued a lookout circular (LOC) against an Indian student based in the UK, who is accused of sending threatening emails.
POLICE TO EXTRADITE THE SUSPECT IN SALMAN KHAN'S DEATH THREAT CASE TO INDIA
The officials stated that the accused allegedly emailed threatening messages to the actor in the name of gangster Goldy Brar in March. Now, the media reports suggest that the cops said the suspect is a third-year student from Haryana pursuing his medical degree in the UK.
As per reports, the Bandra police have refused to share details of his identity as authorities are taking the legal route to get him extradited to India.
Earlier, the jailed gangsters Bishnoi, Goldie Brar, and Rohit Garg were booked by the Mumbai police for allegedly sending threatening emails to Salman Khan's office. A case was filed by the Bandra Police under Sections 506(2),120(b), and 34 of IPC.
Meanwhile, Salman recently opened up on receiving death threats during his appearance on Rajat Sharma's show, Aap Ki Adalat.

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor said, "Security is better than insecurity. Yes security is there. Now it is not possible to ride a bicycle on the road and go alone anywhere. And more than that, now I have this problem that when I am in traffic, then there is so much security, vehicles creating inconvenience to other people. They also give me a look. And my poor fans. There is a serious threat that's why there is security."
"I am doing whatever I have been told. There is a dialogue 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' 'they have to be lucky 100 times, I have to be lucky once'. So, I got to be very careful," the actor added.
