Wo Salman Khan Ka Show Hai: Gaiety Galaxy Owner Slams Akhsay Kumar For Repeatedly Gracing Kapil Sharma's Show

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's latest release Selfiee fell with a thud at the box-office. The Raj Mehta directorial featured Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha along with Akshay Kumar. This did not go down well with the Mumbai's Gaiety Galaxy owner, Manoj Desai. Disappointed with Khiladi Kumar's film performance, the theatre owner has lashed out at the actor for regularly gracing The Kapil Sharma Show.

Manoj Desai Lashes Out At Akshay Kumar

A video shared by Akshay's fan club on social media, shows Manoj Desai questioning the actor's frequent visits to Kapil's show as he mentions that it is a Salman Khan's show. In a recent interview with Filmy Fever, Desai even called Kapil 'son of an owl'.

In the viral video, Desai can be heard saying, "Aap kya ghadi ghadi udhar jaa rahe hai? Aapka kuch usme investment hai? Wo toh Salman Khan ka show hai. Aap kya jaate hai Kapil ke sath? Mere dosto meri public ne kitna bola hai Akshay Kumar ji ghadi ghadi us show pe jaate hai, unko shobha deta hai? Ab mai aapko puchta hu, aapko shobha deta hai?"

He further added that Kapil has invited him to his show several times, but he never went. Questioning Akshay he said, "Kabhi tumhari tareef karta hai, kabhi kachra karta hai. Ye aapko shobha deta hai? Kamaal kar rahe ho, kya ho gaya hai? What is wrong with you?"

Meanwhile, Selfiee is Akshay Kumar's fifth consecutive flop along with Bachchhan Paandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan and Ram Setu.
During an interview with Aaj Tak, Akshay while addressing the issue, said that this was not happening with him for the first time. In his career, he has had 16 consecutive flops at a time. He said that "There was a time when I had eight films in a row that did not work. Now, I have had three-four films in a row that did not work. The thing is that it happens due to your own fault, film ka na chalna (a film not working). The audience have changed, you need to change, you need to dismantle yourself. You have to start again because the audience require to see something else."
