Salman Khan Opens Up On Receiving Death Threats

Salman Khan has been making the headlines for a while now courtesy of the death threats he has been receiving. For the uninitiated, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo star is reportedly on the radar these days and has received several death threats in the past few months. As a result, he has been given Y+ security by the Mumbai Police.

And now, Salman has opened up on the death threats and the beefed up security during his recent interview on Aap Ki Adalat and said that there is a serious threat. "There is a dialogue 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' 'they have to be lucky 100 times, I have to be lucky once'. So, I got to be very careful," he added.

The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan star further stated that though he knows that whatever is going to happen will happen irrespectively, he is taking all required precautions and goes everywhere with security. "Now there are so many Sheras around me, so many guns are going around with me that I am myself scared these days," Salman was quoted as saying.

Furthermore, the superstar also opened up about his experience with the beefed up security and said that he can't go alone anywhere or ride a bicycle on the road. Salman also emphasised that several security vehicles have also been creating inconvenience to the people in traffic. "There is a serious threat that's why there is security," he added.

Meanwhile, a minor has been arrested by the Mumbai Police for allegedly threatening to kill Salman over a phone call. The caller claimed to be a Gau Rakshak (cow-vigilante) and hailed from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He had threatened to eliminate Salman on April 30. As the caller has been arrested, the probe is underway in the case.

Talking about the work front, Salman is currently basking in the success of his recent release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. He will be next seen in the much awaited third installment of his Tiger franchise with Katrina Kaif. Besides, Salman has also confirmed being approached by Karan Johar for a film.
