Salman Khan's Sister Arpita Files Complaint After Diamond Earrings Get Stolen; Police Nabs Househelp

Arpita Khan Robbed: Salman Khan's sister, Arpita Khan's registered a complaint with the Mumbai police after her expensive diamond earrings were stolen from her residence in Khar. The police have nabbed the thief and also recovered the valuables.

The Khar police arrested a 30-year-old man who worked at Arpita's apartment as a house help. Identified as Sandip Hegde, the accused is a resident of Ambewadi slums in Vile Parle East. He stole Arpita Khan's diamond earrings worth Rs 5 lakh that was kept in the make-up tray.

WHAT ARPITA SAID IN HER COMPLAINT?
Arpita Khan in her police complaint had mentioned she had kept her diamond earrings worth five lakhs in the make-up tray, but they had gone missing. The incident took place on May 16 and the police nabbed the accused the same night.
After the complaint was filed, senior inspector Mohan Mane of Khar Police arrested the accused with a team comprising PI Vinod Gaonkar, PSI Laxman Kakde, PSI Gawli, and detection staff. Hegde was a part of the 11-member staff who had been working at the high-rise apartment for the past four months. After stealing the earrings, he had run away, without informing anyone.
The valuable was recovered from Hegde's house and he has been remanded to police custody. Police have booked him under IPC's section 381 (theft by servant).
Meanwhile, Arpita lives with her actor husband Aayush Sharma, and two children, Ayat and Ahil on 17th Road.
