Salman Khan Receives Threat On Email, FIR Against Lawrence Bishnoi, Security Beefed Up Outside Actor's House

Salman Khan has been making the headlines ever since he has been on gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's radar. While it all started after Salman Khan's father had received a threat letter outside their residence post Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moosewala's demise, as per a recent update, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actor has once again received death threats on e-mail. According to media reports, post the threat email, an FIR has been lodged against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Rohit Brar and Golie Brar at Bandra Police station.

The media reports suggested that the FIR has been lodged under sections 506 (2), 120 (B) and 34 of IPC following which security has been beefed up at Salman Khan's residence by the Mumbai Police. As per the FIR, the email was sent from the ID of Mohit Garg. The email read as, "Goldy Bhai (Goldy Brar) ko BAAT krni hai Tere boss Salman se. Interview dekh hi Liya Hoga usne shayad nhi dekha ho toh bol diyo dekh lega. Matter close krna hai to BAAT krva dio, face to face krna ho vo bta dio. Abi time rehte inform krdiya hai agli baar jhatka hi dekhne ko milega".

According to a report published in the Indian Express, the threat e-mail refers to Lawrence Bishnoi's recent interview from Tihar Jail wherein he claimed that the aim of his life is to eliminate Salman Khan. Bishnoi has also claimed that the matter will come to an end only after Salman Khan apologises to Bishnoi community at their temple in Bikaner for killing the blackbuck. "I will kill Salman Khan if his security is removed. If he (Salman Khan) apologises, then the matter will end. Salman is arrogant, Moose Wala was also like that. The ego of Salman Khan is bigger than Ravana," he was quoted saying in an interview.
