demise

he
was
reportedly
in
good
health
until
the
previous
day,
when
he
had
attended
a
Holi
celebration
hosted
by
Javed
Akhtar
at
his
home
on
March
7.
His
mortal
remains
will
be
brought
to
Mumbai
today
at
3
pm
and
the
funeral
will
reportedly
take
place
in
the
evening.
His
contribution
to
Indian
cinema
is
immense,
and
he
will
be
remembered
for
his
jovial
attitude
towards
life.

1-
Satish
Kaushik
was
born
in
Haryana's
Mahendragarh,
on
April
13,
1956.
He
completed
his
graduation
from
Kirori
Mal
College
in
Delhi
and
is
an
alumni
of
the
National
School
of
Drama
and
the
Film
and
Television
Institute
of
India.

In
1979,
when
Satish
first
came
to
Mumbai,
he
took
a
job
at
a
textile
mill
at
a
wage
of
Rs
400
per
month.
It
took
him
a
year
to
stabilise
his
life
in
Mumbai.

Not
many
know
that
Satish
Kaushik
and
Anupam
Kher
were
batchmates
at
NSD,
and
together
they
formed
a
film
production
house
named
'Karol
Bagh
Productions.'

He
married
his
wife
Shashi
Kaushik
in
1985

his
two-year-old
son
Shanu
Kaushik
in
1996.

couple
welcomed

daughter
Vanshika

2012
