Satish Kaushik Death: On Thursday morning, the film industry and fans woke up with the shocking news of veteran actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik's sudden demise at the age of 66. According to reports, he passed away on Wednesday (March 8) in Delhi-NCR after suffering a heart attack on his way to the hospital.
Ever since the news came out, condolences are in order for the actor on social media. Satish Kaushik's body is presently at the Fortis Hospital in Gurugram and will be brought to Mumbai following the postmortem. The last rites of the veteran star will be performed in Mumbai today.

As his sudden demise has taken the internet by storm, Satish Kaushik's last Twitter post is also going viral on social media.
Just a day before his passing, the veteran actor and filmmaker celebrated Holi and shared a post on Twitter. Satish posted several photos on Tuesday (March 7), showing him celebrating the festival of colours with his friends from the Hindi film industry.
The Holi party was hosted by lyricist Javed Akhtar and his wife, actress Shabana Azmi, and Satish could be seen posing with Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Mahima Chaudhry, and Javed in the pictures. Wearing an orange T-shirt with white pants, and sporting dark sunglasses, the late actor smiled while posing for the camera, despite being covered in colors from the festivities.

Born on April 13, 1956, Satish Kaushik was a versatile entertainer who excelled in various roles such as actor, director, producer, comedian, and screenwriter. He was best known for his roles in popular Bollywood movies such as Mr India, Deewana Mastana, Ram Lakhan, and Saajan Chale Sasural, as well as for directing the Salman Khan-starrer Tere Naam. His most recent appearance was in the movie Chhatriwali, starring Rakul Preet Singh.
He had also been cast to portray the role of freedom fighter and former deputy prime minister Jagjivan Ram in the upcoming film Emergency, starring Kangana Ranaut.
