It's hard to believe that a talented artist like him is no more. The actor, who was fondly known for his role of Calendar in Mr. India, left for his heavenly abode after suffering a heart attack in Gurugram. He was 66.
ANUPAM KHER CRIES AT SATISH KAUSHIK LAST RITES
Satish Kaushik's mortal remains were brought to Mumbai after he underwent a postmortem following his demise. Several Bollywood stars including Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor arrived at Kaushik's residence to meet his grieving family and offer their condolences.
Anupam Kher, who was a very dear friend of Satish Kaushik, broke down into tears as he paid his last respect to the actor-filmmaker. The Kashmir Files actor was controlling his emotions; however, he ended up crying as he saw the mortal remains of his beloved friend.

Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor and Satish Kaushik shared a close association, having a friendship that lasted over forty years. Anupam got emotional as he said his final goodbye to Satish at his funeral. The Hum Aapke Hain Koun actor couldn't control his tears as he saw the mortal remains of Kaushik in the ambulance.

It was indeed heartbreaking to see a friend mourn loss of his friend, with whom he shared an ever-lasting bond. Fans flooded the comments section of the video with their messages. Anupam Kher Mourns Satish Kaushik's Death
Earlier in the day, Anupam Kher penned a note to express his grief over Satish Kaushik's demise. He wrote in Hindi, "I know "death is the ultimate truth of this world!" But I never thought in my dreams that I will write about my best friend #SatishKaushik while I am alive. Such a sudden end to the friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!"
Satish Kaushik is survived by his wife Shashi and daughter Vanshika. His family members also got emotional as they bid adieu to him during the last rites.
