Satish Kaushik prayer meet: It's hard to believe that a talented actor-filmmaker like Satish Kaushik is no more. The veteran artist, who entertained us with his comic skills in different films, passed away on March 9, 2023. He left for his heavenly abode at the age of 66 after suffering a heart attack. The news of his demise sent shockwaves across the film industry as he celebrated the festival of Holi two days ago at Javed Akhtar's house.

On Monday (March 20), Satish Kaushik's family members and friends conducted a prayer meet. Several celebrities including Vidya Balan, Jackie Shroff, Javed Akhtar arrived at his residence to offer condolences to the grieving family. Satish's wife Shashi Kaushik and daughter Vanshika were snapped by the paparazzi as they came out along with Anupam Kher.

Anupam Kher comforted Satish Kaushik's daughter Vanshika, holding her hands while walking. They were accompanied by Shashi, who controlled her emotions while meeting the visitors.

Anupam, who shared a close association with late Satish Kaushik, held Vanshika's hand, comforting her. A video from the prayer meet is going viral on the internet where he can be seen talking about rumours over the conspiracy about Satish Kaushik's death.

"He lived a dignified life and needs a dignified exit. There's no need to pay heed to the speculations over his death. The rumours should end with the prayer meet," Anupam Kher said as he interacted with the media.

SATISH KAUSHIK'S DAUGHTER QUITS INSTAGRAM

Satish Kaushik is survived by his wife and daughter Vanshika. His daughter was born through surrogacy in 2012. Satish and Shashi had a son, who died at the age of two in 1996.

Vanshika quit Instagram a few days after her father's death, removing all the pictures from her profile. She had shared a photo with the Mr. India actor on social media, mourning his demise but later deleted the post along with other videos and snaps.
