Dunki Plot: Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Rjkumar Hirani's first film, Dunki, is just three days away from its release. It marks Shah Rukh's third film of 2023 after Jawan and Pathaan. While the film's advance bookings have been opened worldwide, the superstar is promoting the film with full energy.

A fan event was arranged in Dubai on Sunday, where SRK danced and also interacted with his fans. After back-to-back action entertainers, Dunki is going to be the perfect holiday release. However, there are several theories about the film's plot doing the rounds on the internet ever since its trailer was released.

And now, during the event, the actor spilled some major beans on the plot of 'Dunki', which revolves around the theme of 'home is where the heart is'.

Speaking to fans during the event in Dubai, he said, "I know that a lot of you people have left your homes and have made Dubai your second home. From India, Bangladesh, the rest of the subcontinent, so many of you are here from Pakistan and Sri Lanka."

He then added, "Now you all are far from home, but you have acquired a new home. Still you have a deep love for your home and have this longing to go back. This whole film talks about home is where the heart is."

The film is billed as a saga of friendship and is based on the illegal immigration technique named 'donkey flight'. Describing further on the same line, SRK said, "It deals with going out, finding a future for yourself, but loving your home the most. It is about homecoming. That, no matter where you live in the world, it is always the heart's yearning to come back home."

He then encouraged his fans to go and watch the film with their family, friends, and children, as it has a beautiful message.

Earlier, talking about the film's story, Shah Rukh stated that Dunki is a 'love story that spans ages'. He added, "It deals with the love for the motherland. There is a bit of action in Dunki, which was not present in Raju Hirani's previous films. There are many sequences in the film which are very new to me."

Dunki has been given a 'U/A' certificate with a few modifications by the CBFC and has a runtime of 161 minutes.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, actors like Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover play key roles in the film.
