It's
been
a
long
time
since
Shah
Rukh
Khan's
son
Aryan
Khan's
name
emerged
in
a
drugs
case.
While
the
case,
which
was
being
investigated
by
former
Mumbai
Zonal
Director
of
NCB
Sameer
Wankhede
grabbed
the
headlines
in
2021,
it
left
the
nation
brimming
with
an
opinion.
And
while
Aryan
got
a
clean
chit
in
the
case,
Sameer
Wankhede
has
been
in
trouble
after
he
has
been
accused
of
attempting
to
extort
Rs
25
crore
from
Shah
Rukh
to
secure
his
son
in
the
case.
And
while
Sameer
has
been
on
radar,
the
former
Narcotics
Control
Bureau
officer
has
claimed
to
be
innocent.
In
fact,
his
petition
also
includes
attachment
of
the
chats
which
look
like
text
conversations
and
had
Shahrukh
Khan's
name
mentioned
on
the
top
of
the
screenshots.
Shah
Rukh
Khan
और
Sameer
Wankhedeकी
Whatsapp
chat
आई
सामने,
Aryan
के
लिए
गिड़गिड़ाए
थे
SRK
As
per
the
attachments
of
the
chat,
it
appeared
as
if
SRK
had
'begged' Sameer
Wankhede
to
be
kind
with
Aryan
and
not
let
him
be
in
jail.
According
to
a
report
published
in
India
Today,
here
are
the
excerpts
of
the
chat:
"I
beg
you
to
please
have
mercy
in
me
and
my
family.
We
are
a
simple
set
of
people
and
my
son
has
been
a
bit
wayward,
but
he
doesn't
deserve
being
in
a
jail
like
a
hardened
criminal," the
chat
in
the
petition
read.
"I
beg
you
man,
please
don't
let
him
be
in
that
jail.
He
will
break
as
a
human
being.
His
spirit
will
be
destroyed
because
of
some
vested
people.
You
promised
you
will
reform
my
child
not
put
him
in
a
place
where
he
may
come
out
completely
battered
and
broken,"
the
chat
further
read.
"Please
tell
them
to
go
easy
man
and
let
me
get
my
son
home.
Please.
There
is
nothing
more
I
can
say
or
do
but
beg
you.
You
have
noticed
my
behaviour
through
all
this.
You
know
I
would
never
stand
by
anything
against
what
you
are
doing".
Well,
as
this
'father
to
father' chat
which
apparently
took
place
between
Sameer
Wankhere
and
Shah
Rukh
Khan
is
grabbing
the
eyeballs,
Filmibeat
could
not
confirm
the
veracity
of
the
chats.
On
the
other
hand,
Sameer,
in
his
plea,
stated
that
allegations
regarding
Aryan
Khan's
arrest
to
be
just
an
attempt
to
extort
money
from
the
Pathaan
star
in
return
of
his
son's
release
is
'blatantly
false'.
The
plea
further
claimed
that
the
chat
clarifies
that
SRK
has
no
grievances
against
Wankhede
and
was
himself
requesting
him
to
be
kind
to
his
son.
In
fact,
as
per
Wankhede,
the
superstar
had
also
praised
his
integrity.
