Shah Rukh Khan, the king of Bollywood, has been on fire since the beginning of this year. After having a stupendous start at the box office with Pathaan, the superstar is now gearing up several much anticipated projects. In fact, he has been on the toes and has been busy shooting for his upcoming projects.

Recently, Shah Rukh grabbed the attention as he was said to be shooting in Los Angeles for one of his upcoming projects. However, the My Name Is Khan actor made the headlines recently after it was reported that he got injured on the sets following which he was rushed to the hospital.

According to media reports, Shah Rukh had suffered an injury on his nose and was bleeding profusely following which he was taken to the hospital and had to undergo an surgery for the same.

A source had told ETimes, "SRK was shooting in Los Angeles for a project and he ended up hurting his nose. He began bleeding and was immediately rushed to a hospital. His team was informed by the doctors that there was nothing to worry and that King Khan would need to undergo a minor surgery to stop the bleeding. Post the operation, SRK was spotted with a bandage on his nose".

Meanwhile, the reports also suggested that King Khan is now back in India and is currently recovering well at his home.

Talking about the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in Atlee's Jawan which is slated to hit the screens on September 7 this year and will be releasing in Hind, Telugu and Tamil. Besides, he will also be working on Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki with Taapsee Pannu. The movie marks King Khan's first collaboration with Hirani and Taapsee and it is expected to release in December 2023.
